ROBAR GROUP Location: Brisbane and interstate About the Role: ROBAR Personnel is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our established Civil team. We have a strong pipeline of upcoming works across Brisbane and the greater region, with interstate opportunities and future FIFO roles available for the right candidate. You will be operating a modern fleet of low‑hour machines within a professional, safety‑focused environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ excavator operating experience, with strong capability in deep trenching, pile lifting, and GPS Final Trim. This role suits someone who takes pride in precision work, maintains a high safety standard, and is confident with daily machine checks and reporting via mobile apps. Key Responsibilities Operate excavators safely and efficiently on civil construction projects Perform deep trenching , pile lifting , and GPS Final Trim to required specifications among other earthmoving Ability to utilise GPS-guided excavator systems to achieve accurate excavation outcomes (not critical). Conduct daily maintenance, inspections, and general machine upkeep Report machine or site issues via mobile app and complete digital pre-starts Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment Beneficial for the Role Valid Excavator Ticket and White Card Experience in deep trenching, pile lifting, and GPS Final Trim Minimum 4 years’ experience operating excavators Knowledge of machine maintenance and general upkeep Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously MC licence (advantageous but not essential) Working Arrangements Roles are predominantly based in Brisbane and the greater area , with multiple scopes available. A strong pipeline of work is secured, with interstate and future FIFO opportunities available depending on performance and project requirements.
