About the Role An opportunity has emerged for a senior leader to take ownership of asset planning and property management across a large, geographically diverse organisation. Reporting as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, this role partners closely with the Board, executive and operational leaders to ensure assets and facilities support current operations and long-term growth. The position operates in a fast paced, high-energy environment and requires a hands-on, commercially minded leader with strong people leadership capability. Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership across asset planning and property functions to support business performance and growth. Partner with executive and senior leaders to provide data driven advice on asset availability, suitability and lifecycle planning. Lead and develop multi-disciplinary teams, driving performance, capability building, succession planning and engagement. Lead property leasing and facilities management across multiple sites including compliance, maintenance, insurance and stakeholder engagement. Ensure strong governance, safety leadership and compliance across all assets, contractors and service providers. Manage budgets across capital, operating, labour and repairs and maintenance expenditure. Provide objective, well-reasoned input into Board papers, business cases and strategic planning. Skills and Experience Required Degree qualified in engineering or a relevant discipline, or trade qualifications with extensive senior level experience. Proven experience leading asset intensive operations across multiple sites and regions. Strong background in asset lifecycle management and property or facilities management. Demonstrated executive level stakeholder engagement including Boards, senior leaders and external partners. Experience operating in regional or remote locations, including working with local government and Traditional Owners, highly regarded. Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong people leader with a track record of building high performing, accountable teams.
