About Us: Grand View Liquor is located in Bowen, a relaxed coastal town in the Whitsundays, known as the Mango Capital of Australia. Conveniently situated next to Supa IGA, our bottleshop stocks a wide range of beer, wine, spirits, and regularly changing in-store specials. Grand View Liquor is a busy, community-focused store offering not just great drinks, but also mixers, bar accessories, ice – making us a go-to stop for locals and visitors alike. The Role: As the Retail Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our detached bottleshop. You’ll lead by example, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and driving sales to achieve business goals. Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of retail team, fostering a positive work environment. Manage daily operations, including inventory control, merchandising, shrinkage and roster scheduling. Ensure compliance with all liquor licensing regulations. Drive sales and profitability through excellent customer service and strategic planning. Monitor and analyse sales performance, implementing improvements where needed. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. About You: Minimum of 2 years management experience in a retail or bottleshop environment. Proven experience in the liquor, FMCG or hospitality industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Knowledge of liquor products and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
