The key duties of the position include The Role The APS 5 Information and Records Management Officer is accountable to perform and achieve information and records management outcomes within an integrated workforce. The role requires a well-developed understanding of and compliance to relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence's mission and policy requirements .As the APS 5 Information and Records Management Officer, you will support the APS 6 Information and Records Management Officer with daily records management tasks and be responsible for managing group mailboxes and other records management tasks. Computer Use About our Team The Information and Records Management Team sits within the ICT IM/KM Directorate, Command Support Branch at Joint Operations Command, Bungendore. It is a high performing, multi-disciplinary team that makes a deliberate effort to improve information and records management to achieve operational effects. The team is exposed to a variety of information challenges and acts as a support conduit for JOC Group, by providing advice and support to JOC Objective Workgroup Coordinators regarding all aspects of records management, the control and use of Objective supporting this function and compliance with relevant legislative standards and policy.
