Select and order timbers and materials, then cut and shape them for assembly. Erect framework, roof framing, sub-flooring, and floorboards; verify trueness of structures. Nail fascia panels, sheath roofs, and fit exterior wall cladding, door and window frames. Assemble prepared wood into structures and fittings, and repair existing fixtures. Construct concrete formwork as needed. Work with other materials such as plastic laminates, perspex, and metals. Qualifications A Certificate III in Carpentry or similar. Experience At least 2 years’ experience of on the job experience.
