Drivers Wanted at Visy Job no: 513927 Work type: Full Time Location: Wagga Wagga, Sydney - South West, Sydney - North, Sydney - South, Sydney - West, Sydney - Inner, Tumut, Wollongong, Brisbane - South, Yatala, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide, Melbourne - North, Melbourne - South, Melbourne - East, Melbourne - West, Melbourne - Inner, Perth - South, Perth - Inner Routes: Local, regional and interstate linehaul routes Deliveries between Visy and client sites nationwide Locations: Opportunities based out of multiple Visy depots nationally in VIC, NSW, QLD, WA and SA Hours: Linehaul: Sunday–Friday (Standard & BFM hours) Metro: AM and PM shifts available Rates: Competitive hourly or per km (linehaul only) rates penalties allowances What you'll do: Operating HR, HC, MC combinations including Semi, B-Double and A-Double Transporting Visy materials such as paper reels, cardboard, plastic and glass Maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism and compliance Completing electronic reporting and required documentation Adhering to fatigue management, CoR and load restraint regulations Why Join Our Team? Training: In house training to advance your skills with dedicated Visy Driver Trainers in each state. What You Will Bring: A valid HR/HC or MC Licence with recent Australian driving experience. Experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers. Sound knowledge of the regional areas or interstate routes. Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws. BFM Certification – or willingness to obtain. Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
