About the Role We are seeking an energetic, hardworking and experienced Auto Electrician to join our busy service team. Your working week will provide opportunities to work on a variety of heavy trucks in a clean workshop with up-to-date tooling, equipment and on-site parts support. Key Responsibilities Repair Electrical Parts and Systems of vehicles such as engine management systems, transmission and suspension electronic systems, electrical circuits and components, AM/FM/UHF radios, refrigeration systems, air-conditioning systems, lighting systems, electronic braking systems, starting and charging systems, door and mirror motor systems, wiper and washer motor systems, central locking systems, engine immobiliser and security systems, auxiliary circuits and systems. Ensure all accessories requested on repair orders are fitted and completed Test drive / complete inspections of work in accordance with Service Check Sheet Diagnose and complete repairs and adjustments using OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) computer diagnostic programs and circuit wiring diagrams Produce clear and concise reports detailing all work carried out on repair orders including supplies used and recommendations in a prioritised order Skills & Experience Relevant mechanical trade certificate/qualification Experience in the Heavy Vehicle industry Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a customer focused team Current HC/HR drivers’ licence Pride in your work with an ability to work to targets and high standards High levels of motivation, reliable with a can-do attitude Effective communication skills with a commitment to workplace safety What We Offer Competitive hourly rates Extensive in-house training and opportunity to upskill to dual trade qualifications Modern facilities with onsite parking and employee gym Family-owned, supportive work environment Laundered overalls and all necessary safety equipment Employee benefits across CMV Group companies Discounted health and insurance options Regular staff engagement including monthly lunches and team events
