Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) Job Title – Senior People & Capability Partner Work Type – Full Time/ Ongoing Salary Range – $167,754 - $186,393 (including super) Flexibility – Melbourne CBD office, with a hybrid work model of 3 days a week in the office. Key responsibilities Partner with senior leaders as a trusted People & Capability advisor, providing strategic and practical advice across the employee lifecycle Coach and support leaders to build people leadership capability, manage performance and lead change effectively Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters Ensure people practices are fair, compliant, risk-aware and aligned with VMIA policies, values and legislative obligations Partner with leaders on workforce planning, organisational design, restructures and evolving ways of working Contribute to the design and delivery of workforce, talent, succession and leadership development initiatives Support initiatives that strengthen culture, wellbeing, safe work practices and psychosocial risk managementProvide workforce insights and advice to support sound decision-making and governance Contribute to the uplift of capability across the People & Culture function through collaboration, coaching and continuous improvement What we are looking for Experience in HR, with strong capability in business partnering, workforce planning and employee relations Solid experience managing complex employee relations matters with sound judgement and a practical, balanced approach Confidence advising senior leaders on sensitive and high-impact people matters Strong knowledge of workplace health & safety, including psychosocial risk management Demonstrated ability to provide independent, defensible advice to senior leaders and engage external legal advisers where required Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholders Proven ability to coach and influence leaders on complex people matters and change management Experience delivering people initiatives or projects that improve capability, leadership or employee experience Ability to use workforce data and insights to inform decisions Why join VMIA?
