Position Responsibilities Preparation of SMSF Financial Statements Completion of SMSF Annual Returns Preparation of Tax Reconciliations Reconciliations of investment balances and investment returns Calculation of pension liabilities BAS & IAS Statements as required Preparation of electronic workpapers Preparation of audit package and liaising with external auditors Preparation of Trustee documentation Ensuring work completion satisfying budget and time constraints Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients including the ATO and ASIC Work with the Client Director and team to ensure client work is completed within the timeframe allocated Preparation of correspondence to clients and other bodies as required Other tasks as required About you Experience in a chartered accounting practice, with exposure to SMSF or a strong interest in developing SMSF expertise Strong attention to detail with good organisational and time management abilities Excellent written and verbal communication Degree qualified, CA completed or near completion Experience with or accounting software such as MYOB and Excel; exposure to Class Super and HowNow is a bonus Proactive, self‑motivated, and client‑focused Eager to learn, develop, and take on increasing responsibility over time Video
