About the Position: We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative (Industrial Products) to drive sales growth and build lasting client relationships within the food manufacturing sector. This full-time role is critical to the ongoing success of AFIS, involving the promotion of our premium food ingredient range, identification of new business opportunities, assessment of client needs, and delivery of exceptional service that supports our reputation as a trusted supplier. Key Responsibilities: Compiling lists of prospective clients and identifying new business opportunities using various sources Acquiring and updating knowledge of our products, competitors’ offerings, and market conditions Visiting existing and prospective clients to establish relationships and pursue sales opportunities Assessing customer needs and recommending suitable food ingredients and services Monitoring changes in customer requirements and competitor activity, and reporting these to management Quoting prices, negotiating terms, completing contracts, and arranging delivery of goods Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction and promptly resolving any issues Preparing sales reports and maintaining accurate records of expenses and business activities Requirements: Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply. Bachelor degree (Skill Level 1) in Business, Marketing, Food Science or a related discipline. Minimum 1 year of sales experience in a B2B or industrial products environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
