Description The Company Secretary plays a pivotal role in delivering high impact corporate governance and company secretarial expertise across a diverse portfolio of Automic Group clients. You’ll step into a fast paced, client focused environment where your deep knowledge of Australian corporate law, ASX Listing Rules, and governance best practice drives confident decision-making and meaningful outcomes. In this role, you'll lead client obligations end-to-end, provide strategic guidance, champion continuous improvement, and build trusted relationships—while also helping shape the next generation of talent within the team. Key Responsibilities: Manage corporate governance and compliance obligations for a portfolio of clients, including Board meetings and minutes. Provide strategic advice on corporate law, ASX Listing Rules, risk management, and governance matters. Oversee and enhance company secretarial processes, driving continuous improvement across the team. Support and mentor junior team members to build capability and high-quality service delivery. Build strong client relationships and consistently deliver a high standard of service. Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless client outcomes. Maintain timely communication with stakeholders and uphold all compliance, training, and productivity requirements. Skills And Experiences About you! To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone to bring: Bachelor's degree in law, Business, Accounting or other advanced degree Experience working in the mining and tech sectors a distinct advantage Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks beyond the Corporations Act and ASX Listing Rules Demonstrated experience in managing the company secretarial function for ASX-listed entities Proven experience in interpreting and applying Australian corporate law, including the Corporations Act 2001 Strong understanding of the ASX Listing Rules and continuous disclosure obligations Experience working in a professional services environment, servicing multiple clients.
