This is a diverse and rewarding role that combines clinical care, teamwork and leadership to support excellence in service delivery. In this role, you will deliver safe, effective clinical care while supporting the operational performance of the Aged Care services. Working closely with the Associate Nurse Unit Manager and Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide leadership on each shift and ensure care is aligned with organisational policies, professional standards and best practice guidelines. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality clinical care to patients, residents and clients across Aged Care Offer leadership, direction and support to ensure optimal care and service quality Enhance the operational performance of the Aged Care Unit Contribute to the development and review of policies and procedures Support organisational Strategic and Business Plans, and align practice with government strategies and best practice principles Work collaboratively with the Manager to ensure patient‑centred care is consistently delivered Plan and deliver care on a shift‑by‑shift basis as required Ensure care plans are created, reviewed and updated according to Heathcote Health policy Maintain accurate and timely documentation Practice in accordance with Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council competencies, Heathcote Health's Code of Conduct, and the Nurses' Professional Code of Conduct Support the Nurse Unit Manager with portfolio duties where appropriate About you Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Clinical experience in aged care (desirable) Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work all shifts, including nights and weekends Please refer to the relevant attached position description and address the key selection criteria on your cover letter when applying.
