About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and reliable Spraypainter/blaster to join our client’s team in the rail industry. As a Spraypainter, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper application of paint and coatings on rail vehicles, components, and related parts, ensuring a high standard of finish and quality. Key Responsibilities: Prepare surfaces and materials for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking. Apply paint and coatings using spray painting equipment on rail cars, locomotives, and parts. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and complies with health and safety regulations. Always follow environmental and safety procedures. Maintain spray painting equipment and ensure it is in good working condition. Work closely with other team members to meet production schedules and deadlines. Key Requirements: Trade Certification in Spray painting Proven experience as a Spraypainter, blaster, preferably in the rail or automotive industry. Ability to work with various paint types, including primers, topcoats, and clear coats. Knowledge of health and safety standards in painting and coating processes. Strong attention to detail and high-quality standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
