Austrade is seeking an experienced Finance Advisor to join the Treasury and Financial Accounting team. You will undertake complex financial tasks and exercise autonomy in managing a key area of responsibility. We are looking for a results-oriented person with demonstrated strong experience in finance and the ability to resolve complex financial issues as they arise. The key duties of the position include assisting with end of month internal management reporting for operating revenue and expenditure, capital and priority funding projects. reviewing daily and monthly bank reconciliations and supporting work papers ensuring reconciliations are completed. assisting with cash management and payments assisting with the annual internal budget and mid-year review processes for operating, capital and priority funding. undertaking financial accounting and treasury procedures, including processing of journals into the financial management information system (SAP) and Central Budget Management System (CBMS). reviewing and recording administered and departmental s74 receipts in the CBMS. researching and analysing issues as they arise and contributing to business improvement. leading credit card management. reviewing and approving bank transfers and overseas payments. supervising and reviewing work performed by APS4 and APS5, providing advice and guidance as required.
