About the role: Microminds Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Analyst to support the delivery of high-quality digital platforms and enterprise system solutions. In this role, you will work closely with clients, project stakeholders, and development teams to gather and document business requirements, analyse workflows, and translate operational needs into clear functional specifications. You will play a key role in improving system functionality, supporting project implementation, coordinating testing activities, and delivering user documentation and training to ensure successful solution adoption. Key Responsibilities: Analyse, evaluate, and document existing information systems, application architecture, and technical environments to identify system deficiencies and improvement opportunities. Elicit and analyse detailed system and functional requirements from clients and stakeholders, translating them into comprehensive technical specifications and system design documentation. Develop high-level and detailed system design models, including data models, process models, interface specifications, and integration frameworks to support software and enterprise system development. Conduct technical feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed system enhancements, modifications, and new implementations. Analyse database structures, data flows, APIs, and system interfaces to ensure data integrity, security, scalability, and optimal system performance. Evaluate system architecture and integration points to ensure compatibility between applications, platforms, and infrastructure components. Prepare detailed system specifications and technical documentation to guide developers in the configuration, development, and implementation of customised software solutions. Design, coordinate, and oversee system testing strategies, including system integration testing and user acceptance testing, to validate functionality, reliability, and compliance with technical requirements. Monitor system performance and reliability post-implementation, identifying technical issues and recommending system upgrades, optimisation, or reconfiguration where required. Liaise with developers, engineers, and technical teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and long-term technology strategies. Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline, with a Master’s degree highly preferred Strong understanding of business systems, application architecture, data flows, and system integration principles Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or technology-driven project environments Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and system functionality Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Familiarity with industry frameworks, documentation standards, and system lifecycle methodologies is preferred
