We’re seeking an experienced Senior Technical Advisor – Design & Drafting (Contractor) to play a key role in delivering major water infrastructure projects. This is a 12-month contract opportunity based in Leederville. Monday to Friday, Full Time. 38 hours per week. What You’ll Be Doing As a contractor in the Asset Delivery Group, you’ll be responsible for delivering high ‑ quality design and drafting services across a diverse and meaningful project portfolio. You will collaborate closely with engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure design integrity and support the ongoing success of the client’s Capital Works Program. Key Responsibilities Create complex design drawings and calculations for water infrastructure projects. Develop 3D concept models and detailed engineering designs. Manage project schedules, resource estimates, and progress reporting. Review and verify drawings to uphold engineering and drafting standards. Provide authoritative technical advice across multidisciplinary projects. Work with internal and external stakeholders to interpret and deliver design requirements. What You Bring We’re looking for a contractor with deep technical capability, exceptional attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Essential Skills & Experience Tertiary qualification in engineering or drafting. Extensive experience in water infrastructure design and drafting. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D, and Navisworks. Proven ability to estimate time and cost for complex drafting tasks. Multidisciplinary drafting experience: electrical, mechanical, civil, and process. Strong analytical thinking, problem ‑ solving ability, and stakeholder communication.
