About The Role We are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join our Head Office Payroll department, based in the the QV1 building located in the CBD, WA, on a full-time basis, working 38 hours per week. This role will suit working parents looking for flexibility in hours and the opportunity to work in the office and from home. Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, this position is responsible for processing the payroll in a timely manner and responding to payroll enquiries. DUTIES The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: Receive and check Kronos and manual timesheets as provided by line managers Checking of payroll reports as well as reporting Assist with end-of-financial year processes in accordance with Single Touch Payroll (STP) requirements Maintain Sonic MyPay (iChris) system, including employee records and payroll parameters General administration support to the pay office Assist with maintenance of personal e-files Assist Senior Payroll Officer with general payroll queries Candidate Requirements The successful candidate will be well organised and have great administration skills with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills together with the following: Three to five years’ experience in office administration Two to three years’ payroll experience Previous experience using iChris and Kronos systems - desirable.
