The Opportunity Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is seeking a qualified and motivated Auto Electrician based in Perth to support operations across multiple sites as required. This role offers a flexible, ad-hoc roster, ideal for candidates who enjoy variety, adaptability and working in diverse environments. About The Role Performing diagnostic evaluations and electrical maintenance services on a broad range of Hitachi construction and mining machinery Providing labour support across multiple regional Mine site’s & Perth metro surrounding sites Liaising with technical support staff to achieve efficient outcomes and assist in ongoing product improvements Completing and submitting all required documentation and service reporting paperwork Maintaining strong working relationships with customers, peers and internal departments Identifying continuous improvement opportunities within your area of responsibility Field and/or workshop-based work depending on operational requirements To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need Australian accredited Auto Electrical trade qualification Current Australian driver’s licence Air-con handlers licence Demonstrated experience working with mobile plant and heavy mining equipment Ability and willingness to attend multiple sites as required Strong understanding of mining equipment maintenance practices A proactive approach to Workplace Health & Safety and hazard reduction Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving and technical skills Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team Benefits A competitive rate zone allowance super & the potential to earn bi-annual bonuses!
