What you’ll be doing Preparing and reviewing financial statements, income tax returns, BAS & IAS Managing a portfolio of clients and building long-term advisory relationships Reviewing work from junior accountants and bookkeepers (and helping them grow) Delivering tax planning, business structuring and proactive advice Ensuring all work is compliant with ATO, ASIC and Australian Accounting Standards Managing workflows, deadlines and job budgets with confidence Identifying smarter, more efficient ways of working (we love improvement ideas) What we’re looking for Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or similar CPA or CA qualified (or working towards) Strong experience in Australian public practice Confident preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns Solid knowledge of Australian tax legislation and GST Experience with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and cloud-based systems A natural mentor who enjoys helping others develop Strong communication skills — clients trust you and juniors learn from you The culture We’re serious about what we do — but not about ourselves.
