Location: Port Adelaide, SA Clearance: Minimum NV1 About the Role The Level 3 Model Based Systems Engineer works under broad direction to enable the delivery of MBSE capability within ASAs Nuclear-Powered Submarine program. The role supports modelling development, digital engineering uplift, and technical data ecosystem mapping. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain systems models supporting ASAs MBSE framework. Apply MBSE techniques to model authoritative technical data sources. Map technical data sources, consumers and exchange use cases. Contribute to systems models of: NPS information ecosystem NPS technical data environments Augment existing models into higher-fidelity representations. Assist in development of MBSE governance, sustainment and training material. Engage with ASA stakeholders to support identification and validation of technical data requirements. Provide structured documentation enabling sustainment and evolution of models. Experience & Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Systems Engineering or related discipline. 8 years relevant industry experience. Demonstrated MBSE application on at least one major program. Significant experience with: SparxEA and/or Cameo SysML or equivalent modelling language Experience within Defence Capability Life Cycle environment highly desirable. Authority & Autonomy Works under broad direction. Exercises independent judgement in modelling activities. Contributes technical advice within defined program scope. Supports Level 4 technical lead.
