We are seeking an experienced Pre-Contracts Manager to join our team based in Sydney or Brisbane. This position will play a pivotal role in leading the Pre–Contracts team and shaping work winning strategies to achieve revenue, margin and win rate targets. The role will be accountable for building and leading high performing culture throughout the opportunity and bid management lifecycle by managing the bid and tendering processes rigorously, undertaking early evaluation and qualification of business opportunities, improving qualification of leads through intelligent analysis of clients and understanding financial and commercial risk. What will a day in this role look like: · Proactively map out all suitable/eligible markets or target clients for UGL · Identify UGL’s strengths and capabilities and utilise as differentiators throughout the tender submissions · Ensure that all parts of each submission are interconnected with robust and substantiated strategic elements · Accountable to work closely with the estimation and commercial teams to develop a competitive and sustainable commercial proposal · Organise and manage the technical information required, ensuring accurate cost estimates, delivery strategies and supporting documentation are delivered within the tight deadlines.
