About the Role This role leads the design and delivery of enterprise-wide learning and reskilling initiatives aligned to our Strategic Workforce Plan and transformation priorities. You will drive future skills programs across AI, data, and professional capabilities, while establishing and evolving a Learning Academy that supports long-term workforce capability development. The role works closely with senior leaders, business partners, and external providers to deliver measurable capability outcomes. What You’ll Do Lead and continuously improve enterprise learning programs focused on AI, data literacy, and professional capabilities to support current and future workforce needs. Manage and scale our industry leading reskilling programs that enable employees to transition into in-demand roles and capabilities across the organisation. Design and deliver the establishment of a Learning Academy, creating a consistent and high-quality learning experience and employee benefit Partner with senior stakeholders and business areas to co-design solutions, define benefits, and track success against agreed outcomes Oversee a strategic portfolio of work, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to organisational priorities Lead and influence a team and external vendors to deliver scalable, high-impact capability solutions What You’ll Bring Demonstrated experience building strategic workforce capability and delivering enterprise learning or reskilling programs, ideally over five or more years Experience designing or improving learning academies or large-scale learning ecosystems that support diverse workforce needs Strong understanding of contemporary approaches to capability building, including AI, data, and future skills development Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders through clear, compelling communication and evidence-based insights Proven capability in managing complex programs, governance, and reporting while delivering agreed outcomes A collaborative leadership style with the ability to lead teams and partners through change and ambiguity If you require any support and adjustments to participate equitably in our recruitment process or in the workplace, we encourage you to contact luke.morandini@suncorp.com.au for a confidential conversation.
