Reporting to the Head of Employee Relations & WHS, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the ABC’s workplace relations strategy while supporting leaders to navigate complex and high-risk employment matters with confidence. You’ll operate as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, representing the ABC in tribunals and courts, leading enterprise bargaining initiatives, and managing complex disputes and litigation. This is an opportunity to combine strategic influence with hands-on legal practice in a values-driven, national organisation. Position Description: ER COUNSEL PD.pdf About You You are a technically strong employment and industrial relations lawyer who brings both depth of expertise and sound judgement. You are strategic, pragmatic and comfortable operating at pace while navigating complex legal and industrial landscapes. You will bring: Tertiary qualifications in Law and a current practising certificate. Significant experience managing disputes and litigations before federal industrial tribunals and courts. Enterprise bargaining and union negotiation experience. Highly developed communication, negotiation and influencing skills. Ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
