We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Commercial Manager – New South Wales to join our team in Rydalmere, Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the financial and commercial management of major infrastructure and technology projects across NSW while supporting large-scale tenders and business growth. About the Role Reporting directly to the Managing Director Finance, this role will take overall financial responsibility for New South Wales operations and lead a team of commercial professionals delivering major projects across the region. The successful candidate will provide end-to-end financial oversight, commercial leadership, and strategic support across project delivery and tendering activities. Key Responsibilities Overall financial responsibility for the New South Wales region, including commercial project execution and tendering Lead and manage a diverse commercial team and support major project delivery across NSW Support the Managing Director Finance with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Lead customer negotiations during bid, tendering, and project execution phases Provide financial oversight of project performance, including margins, cash flow, and targets Work closely with Project Managers on financial outcomes and commercial risk management Manage contracts and drive effective claim and variation management Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders Ensure compliance with company procurement, financial, and accounting policies Support pre-contracts and business development teams to drive growth opportunities Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and management insights for NSW operations Lead commercial input into major tenders and project bids Facilitate month-end reporting, budgeting, and cost-centre control Ensure accurate cost allocation across business units and regions Promote a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team culture About You Proven experience in commercial/finance management within infrastructure, engineering, or major projects Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and contract management skills Experience managing large tenders and commercial negotiations Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or similar CPA/CA qualification highly regarded What We Offer Opportunity to work with a global leader in smart mobility solutions Involvement in major infrastructure and technology projects Supportive and collaborative team environment Competitive salary package Career growth within an international organisation Click “Apply for this job” to register your interest in this fulltime salaried position with a starting salary $150K to $155K (plus super)
