As we head into 2026, we are expanding our management team and are seeking an experienced and motivated Venue Manager to join us during this exciting period of growth. About the Role The Venue Manager will play a key leadership role in overseeing the daily operations of the venue, ensuring service excellence across busy lunch and dinner services, events, and all food and beverage offerings. This is a hands-on position suited to a strong operator who leads from the floor and is passionate about people, service, and standards. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional, service-focused guest experiences across all areas of the venue Lead and manage busy lunch and dinner services, as well as private and public events Recruit, train, develop, and mentor staff, building a high-performing team culture Manage rosters, staffing levels, and labour efficiency Oversee venue operations including opening, closing, and service execution Ensure full compliance with licensing requirements, including RSA and RCG obligations Maintain compliance with WHS, food safety, and company policies Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally and effectively Work closely with ownership and senior management to drive operational and commercial outcomes About You Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Venue Manager or senior management role Proven experience working in high-paced hospitality venues or restaurants Strong background in service-focused operations, including events and high-volume services Demonstrated leadership and people management skills Confident team leader with a hands-on management style Excellent communication and organisational skills Current RSA and RCG certifications (essential) Life at The Point The Dolphin is proudly part of The Point, a growing hospitality group behind some of NSW’s most loved pubs, bars and restaurants.
