About the Role Lead and optimise the national Direct contact centre and Customer Delivery function to deliver a seamless, high quality customer experience. Drive performance across the Direct and Intermediated channels, achieving targets in GWP, rate, retention, and strike rates. Implement effective operating rhythms, digital tools, and telephony solutions to enhance customer journeys and operational efficiency. Strengthen operational excellence through streamlined processes, quality assurance, and robust control frameworks. Coach and develop team members, build capability, manage performance, and foster a high performance culture aligned to SCI values. Oversee workforce planning and support ongoing cross skilling and capability uplift across both teams. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and the General Insurance Code of Practice, including effective management of incidents, breaches, training, and underwriting authorities. About you You’ll bring a strong background in insurance operations, customer service leadership, and business transformation, including: Tertiary qualifications in Business or related field (or equivalent experience). Extensive experience in insurance sales, service, or operations. Strong understanding of general insurance and the regulatory landscape. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Proven ability to analyse data, identify trends, and implement practical solutions. Strong organisational, operational, and project leadership capability.
