This role plays a critical part in standardising training, accelerating onboarding, preserving critical operational knowledge, and ensuring employees are competent, compliant, and confident in their roles. This is a full-time permanent opportunity, reflecting the organisation’s commitment to long-term capability building. The Opportunity In this role, you will: Develop and standardise SOPs across a diverse machinery fleet Design and implement a formal, organisation-wide training framework Oversee the creation and standardisation of training materials, including manuals, job aids, digital learning content Establish structured onboarding and role-based training pathways Introduce competency assessments and formal sign-off processes Build and embed a train-the-trainer model Partner with operations, quality, safety, and people teams to identify skill gaps Create skills matrices to support workforce capability and succession Ensure training governance aligns with WHS and compliance standards Drive consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement Use data and feedback to continuously refine training outcomes About You – What You’ll Bring You will bring: Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent) Proven experience in training design and workforce capability uplift Exposure to manufacturing, production, or operational environments would be advantageous Strong ability to engage with blue-collar teams on the floor A practical, approachable change management style High levels of autonomy, ownership, and critical thinking Experience documenting SOPs and translating technical knowledge Sound understanding of WHS, risk, and compliance Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills A hands-on, delivery-focused mindset Manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential.
