We’re partnering with a well-established Queensland-based construction and building services business that delivers high-quality residential, multi-residential and commercial projects across the region. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Accountant to join their finance team and support the day-to-day and month-end financial operations of the business. This role would suit an Accountant who enjoys working in a project-based / construction environment , with exposure across management accounting, job costing and financial reporting. The Role: Assist with month-end close, journals and balance sheet reconciliations Prepare management reports, P&L and variance analysis Job costing and project financial reporting Accounts payable and accounts receivable oversight/support BAS, GST and compliance support Assist with budgeting and forecasting Partner with project and operational teams on financial matters About You: Degree qualified in Accounting (or working towards) 2 years’ experience in an Accountant or Assistant Accountant role Experience within construction, engineering or project-based environments highly regarded Strong Excel skills and exposure to accounting systems MYOB Detail-oriented, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment What’s on Offer: Permanent opportunity within a growing business Supportive team environment Broad, hands-on role with genuine development opportunities
