At UCC Coffee we’re partnering with some of Australia’s most iconic retail and out of home brands to lead the market in roasted coffee. From bean to cup we’re redefining coffee for some of the nation’s most renowned brands. As Commercial Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in a business that is setting the standard across consistency, quality and excellence in big batch roasting. Your Focus This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the General Manager Mocopan. Your role is to partner with key stakeholders across your portfolio in commercial decision-making processes, providing financial support for driving performance, growing the business, and shaping the future. Albeit this is a leadership role, it is equally a doing-and-delivery role. You’ll often find yourself moving between the strategic and the operational space - shaping the bigger picture while also rolling up your sleeves to ensure delivery. With two analysts supporting the workflow, you’ll spend time coaching, collaborating, and enabling them to deliver at pace while lifting capability across the team. Together, you and your direct reports will deliver insightful analysis across innovation projects, supply chain initiatives, new business, and tender proposals, alongside business performance reporting, forecasting, and planning. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for the finance business partnering relationship with one of Australia’s most recognised brands, including management of FX hedging, protocol pricing, and accounting. Your Profile 7 years’ experience in commercial finance, with at least 4 years in a leadership role. Brings strong FP&A expertise across forecasting, planning, modelling, and decision support - this role is suited to a commercial partner, not someone from a purely financial control background. Operates with autonomy and confidence but can easily “switch hats” between strategic leadership and hands-on delivery. Able to focus on what matters, cut through complexity, and provide clarity to stakeholders. Relatable and credible with senior leaders, including the CEO, while also building trust and connection across the wider business. Communicates with influence, collaborates openly, and brings others on the journey. Proven people leader with a track record of developing analysts, raising the bar in performance and capability, and role modelling accountability. Known for resilience, curiosity, and a solutions-oriented mindset - challenges constructively, drives innovation, and consistently seeks better ways of working. We pride ourselves on offering a flexible work environment that supports both professional and personal growth. Our commitment to your development includes career progression opportunities and a strong focus on wellbeing. As part of this, we provide ‘recharge leave’ - five additional days each year dedicated to rest, reset, and refuel. And of course, you’ll enjoy the perks of coffee on tap and beans to take home, keeping you connected to the craft we’re passionate about. No agencies please.
