Position Overview Priority Worldwide is seeking a Junior Operations Agent to join our Sydney team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals coming from the hospitality industry who excel in customer service, communication, and multitasking — and are ready to transition their skills into the global logistics industry. As part of our operations team, you will assist in coordinating shipments from booking to delivery, ensuring freight moves efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with international regulations. You'll work closely with clients, airlines, ocean carriers, and internal departments to help keep goods moving around the world. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in international logistics with hands-on training and mentorship from experienced professionals. Operations Support Coordinate international air and ocean shipment Book cargo, prepare documentation (AWB, BL, customs files), and monitor pre-alert Assist with quoting and rate negotiation to support cost-effective shipments Handle shared inboxes and respond to client requests promptly and professionally Ensure documentation is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time Support specialized paperwork needs (certificates, legalization, etc.) Customer & Sales Support Provide outstanding customer service and communication Assist with onboarding and SOP creation for new clients Help maintain strong relationships with customers through timely updates and support Vendor Coordination Support senior staff with vendor interactions and compliance follow-up Help process agent quote requests (EXW, FCA/FOB) and invoicing for routed shipments Learn how to develop and maintain key vendor relationships Team & Facility Responsibilities Uphold security and compliance standards in the office Maintain a clean and environmentally responsible work environment Participate actively in team meetings and continuous learning initiatives Requirements Basic Requirements Post-secondary education in logistics or related field is beneficial but not essential for this position Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Experience with CargoWise One is a plus Ability to type 35 WPM and work confidently across Windows and/or Mac systems Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Australia; relocation assistance is not available for this position Benefits and Compensation Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons Base Salary AUD55K-AUD70K, annually, depending on experience Paid Time Off 3 Days of Paid Time off for Volunteer Work Additional Comprehensive Benefits Priority Worldwide is an equal opportunity employer.
