Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Administrator to join the team and provide high level financial and administrative support across the business. This is a hands-on role offering variety, responsibility and exposure to project-based finance operations. About the Role Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Officer will play a key role in supporting the financial performance of the business and collaborating closely with operations, project and resource teams. Key responsibilities include: Customer invoicing and end to end accounts receivable management Assisting with month end processes including asset finance amortisation, job costing journals and clearing account reconciliations Weekly and monthly payroll reconciliations, including STP, Coinvest, Incolink and superannuation Maintaining subcontractor insurances and ensuring procurement and civil compliance processes are followed Raising purchase orders and providing high level support to the resource department as required Monitoring subcontractor contracts and supporting purchasing and accounts payable processes Maintaining asset management and PPSR registers Providing monthly reporting on payments due and overdue Assisting with the development and implementation of financial procedures, workflows and new systems Acting as a key point of contact for internal finance, client and resource related queries Analysing job costing processes across projects and departments About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance or accounts-based role within a medium to large organisation Strong understanding of accounting principles and payroll legislation High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines Confidence working autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience in construction, civil or project-based environments will be highly regarded A business or accounting qualification is desirable, though not essential for the right candidate.
