What you'll do: Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take on a hands-on Finance Officer position where you'll own day-to-day transactional finance, trust compliance and payroll, as well as supporting varying stakeholders and the wider business. Responsibilities include: Managing accounts payable and disbursement processing Maintaining accurate financial data in Xero Processing and reconciling corporate credit cards Performing weekly and monthly bank, GST and control reconciliations Supporting month-end processes including journals and reporting Administering trust and controlled money transactions in line with regulatory requirements Running monthly payroll for ~70 staff, including bonus calculations Assisting with weekly management reporting Supporting stakeholders with finance queries Contributing across finance and admin tasks Who you are: You're someone who takes pride in your work and relishes working with a CFO who will invest their time in your development. You will have solid exposure to Payroll and whilst this is one day per week, it is essential that you have performed this previously. You will have a very clear and confident communication style; this is a visible role where you will engage at every level within a highly professional environment and one where people will rely on your ability to convey the correct information. You'll bring: Experience in a hands-on finance role Payroll ownership capability (essential) Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders A positive, adaptable mindset Willingness to step in and support where needed Experience with Xero is highly regarded. Exposure to trust accounting is beneficial but not essential.
