Description Wood is recruiting for a highly skilled SAP Master Data Specialist with experience in maintenance and planning to join our team to deliver leading maintenance and project services to the Ampol Refinery in Brisbane. The Role Location: Lytton Refinery, site based The successful candidate will support the Planning Superintendent with the ongoing development and implementation of various planning and quality processes, whilst assuming responsibility for maintaining & implementation of standards, policies, and procedures as it relates to master data At Wood, we’re not just about maintaining infrastructure—we’re about transforming industries. Responsibilities Creation and maintenance of the Maintenance Work Management system & asset information in the CMMS (SAP), e.g. Functional location (FLOC), Maintenance plans, Tasklists & bills of materials (BOM) Develop Capital Project definition guides & configure Capital work management process Creating and maintaining SAP Master Data work management procedures and guidelines Ensure the quality, accuracy and integrity, maintaining SAP master data in key systems Resolve data quality process with subject matter experts. Detecting errors & process improvements Ensuring SAP Master Data change requests align with the site procedures and comply with relevant standards Conduct data-cleansing and enrichment tasks to optimise the SAP Master Data Governance process Maintain an up to date knowledge of techniques and best practices appropriate to master data management Provide mentoring & training to staff engaged in support of data management Developing and optimising SAP Master Data training packages Demonstrate a pro-active role in identifying safety improvements Provide pro-active, constructive and innovate input which will enhance present practices Actively pursue personal development utilising the My Success Plan process. Qualifications Degree or diploma in Engineering or applicable trade qualification (Mechanical / Electrical) 10 Years’ experience within a similar industry or related industry workplace Previous experience in Asset Management and Master Data (preferably in SAP) is highly desirable Knowledge of relevant discipline and Industry procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and best practices Highly effective verbal and written communication skills Highly skilled in MS Suite Skills – Word, Excel Actively commits to being a OH&S Leader Work behaviours enhance the Company’s reputation Demonstrates discipline expertise, integrity and the ability to influence and challenge others to behave in ways consistent with the interest of the organisation.
