The business is positioning itself for its next phase of growth and is now looking to bring development capability in‑house — creating a rare opportunity for an experienced Senior Development Manager to step into a genuinely influential role. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys both the strategic and hands‑on sides of development, and wants real ownership over projects that have design quality at their core. The Role This person will take the lead on a pipeline of premium residential and hotel projects, predominantly located in Sydney's east. Working closely with the leadership team, you’ll be responsible for the full development lifecycle, including: Front‑end analysis, feasibility work, and shaping project direction Managing and coordinating consultants from early concept through to delivery Driving DA strategy and navigating approvals with relevant authorities Guiding design development with a focus on buildability and high‑quality outcomes Overseeing delivery phases in partnership with internal stakeholders and external partners Keeping a close eye on financial performance, risks, programme, and reporting The group has previously relied heavily on external consultancies for development work, so this role will also play a part in building internal structure, improving processes, and setting the standard for how development is managed moving forward. About You We’re looking for someone who brings solid experience and confidence in leading boutique, design‑driven projects — ideally with exposure to both residential and hotel developments in Sydney.
