Senior Estimator - Defence, Water, Energy & Resources Location: Rhodes, NSW About the Opportunity Are you a seasoned Estimator ready to take the lead on major construction and industrial projects? We're seeking a Senior Estimator to join our dynamic pre-contracts team, working across Defence, Water, Energy, Resources and Industrial sectors. This is your opportunity to drive the proposal development process from start to finish, working on large-scale, complex projects that make a real difference. With flexible work-from-home options and offices in both Rhodes, NSW and Perth, WA, we'll work with you to find the right balance. What You'll Be Doing Lead proposal development from initial RFP through to submission, ensuring competitive and comprehensive bids Prepare accurate BOQs, scope breakdowns, and subcontractor packages Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities to ensure proposals deliver superior value Drive competitive pricing strategies and assess trade coverage across multiple sectors Co-ordinate tender teams including commercial, finance, estimators, proposal writers and subject matter experts Contribute to risk analysis and design development during Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phases Monitor tender portals to identify new business opportunities in public and private sectors What We're Looking For Essential Requirements: Minimum 5 years' estimating experience in construction or heavy industrial sectors Strong understanding of construction methodology, cost planning, and subcontractor markets Proven track record of contributing to the estimation and winning of large-scale construction projects Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar discipline Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal Autonomous working style - you thrive in fast-paced pre-construction environments Flexibility and adaptability - open to different approaches and ways of working Highly Regarded: Experience with P&L and/or business operations Ability to easily adjust to changing circumstances and challenges Why Join Us?
