Job Description What You’ll Do: Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and manage short- and medium-term production plans and daily/weekly schedules, optimising sequencing to minimise downtime, changeovers, and waste while responding to real-time disruptions. Demand, Supply & Inventory Coordination: Align production with demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targets by monitoring raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, while managing shelf-life and avoiding excess or obsolete stock. Stakeholder Collaboration & S&OP: Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Sales, and Customer Service, contributing planning inputs to S&OP and providing clear production updates. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Track schedule adherence and key KPIs (DIFOT, production attainment, utilisation, inventory, waste), investigate variances, and drive improvements in planning accuracy and execution. Systems & Planning Transformation: Support the transition from Excel-based planning to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central by designing, testing, and embedding automated planning, MRP, and scheduling processes.
