Full-time, permanent position, based at our Beta Hunt site, a competitive salary and attractive benefits package A family friendly roster to suit your lifestyle – 8 days on, 6 days off, flying in and out on Tuesdays Flexible employment options including FIFO, DIDO, and residential opportunities in Kambalda & Kalgoorlie Well-equipped camp featuring ensuite rooms, and a fully equipped gym to keep you comfortable and active while away from home A growing company that’s supports employee’s development THE ROLE Carry out inspections and repairs on a wide range of mobile and fixed plant assets Follow maintenance schedules to minimise disruption to mining operations Actively participate in maintenance planning activities to support operational requirements Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Conduct routine inspections to identify, address, and prevent potential equipment issues Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to prioritise and schedule repairs for minimal downtime Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance and repair activities Adhere to safety standards, procedures, and protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment WHAT DO I NEED Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence Valid and relevant trade qualifications, certificates, and licences Experience within underground mining or heavy industry environment Experience in Flux core, Arc, Oxy, Mig, Air Arc Gouging & Lancing (232 & XLR8 wire) Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desired) Confined Space Ticket (desirable) Working at Heights Ticket (desirable) Ability to work in an underground environment Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment Reasonable computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable Excellent communication skills A can-do, team-oriented attitude The Westgold Offer: A permanent full-time position at a successful gold producer A range of benefits including: Performance based bonus Group salary continuous insurance A health and wellness allowance Health insurance discount A range of Family and Medical leave policies that includes IVF, surrogacy and adoption.
