Days & Hours: Monday to Friday – 06:30 - 14:30– potential for OT Weekend work Pay Rate - $41.92 per hr (including casual loading) Key Duties Perform minor repairs, general maintenance, and hands‑on fitting/mechanical tasks. Carry out routine inspections of equipment, tools, and facilities. Support contractors onsite, ensuring safe and compliant work. (Leading Hand level) Assist with task allocation, daily coordination, and overseeing small teams. Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and escalating where required. Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow all safety procedures. Qualifications & Experience Experience in maintenance, mechanical fitting, or a similar trade‑based role. Trade qualification (e.g., Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Technician) Understanding of safe work practices and basic mechanical troubleshooting. Relevant tickets such as Confined Space, Working at Heights, or EWP highly regarded. Leadership experience valued for those stepping into a Leading Hand role. Ideal Candidate Qualities Practical, hands‑on problem solver with strong safety awareness. Reliable, organised, and able to prioritise daily tasks. Good communicator, comfortable working with contractors and team members. Confident guiding others and coordinating workflow.
