As a Warehouse Assistant, you’ll play a key part in keeping UQ Library’s extensive collections running smoothly, supporting both staff and students in a dynamic, team-focused environment. This part-time role, working Mondays only, presents a great opportunity to contribute to essential library operations while being part of a dedicated and collaborative team. Key responsibilities will include: Handle labelling, and preparation of library materials to ensure collections are ready for use. Retrieve, sort, shelve, and maintain library collections to keep resources organised and accessible. Manage scanning, photocopying, mail processing, packaging, and dispatching of documents. Assist the library team with day-to-day operations, completing tasks as directed to keep services running efficiently. Flexibility and adaptability with a willingness to learn new skills Physically capable of hands-on library work, including moving books and boxes, climbing ladders, pushing loaded trolleys, and maintaining collections safely and efficiently.
