We specialise in producing organic vegetables in modern greenhouse facilities , enabling year-round production of high-quality produce regardless of weather conditions. Due to business growth and expansion, we are seeking a skilled Horticulture Grower to join our team. Key Duties & Responsibilities (Consistent with ANZSCO – Horticulture Grower) The successful applicant will: • Plan and coordinate vegetable crop production in greenhouse environments • Prepare soil and growing media, and oversee planting and harvesting schedules • Monitor plant health, irrigation, fertilisation and environmental conditions • Implement pest, disease and weed control using organic farming methods • Operate and maintain irrigation systems, greenhouse climate controls and farm machinery • Analyse soil and environmental data to optimise crop yield and quality • Supervise farm workers and coordinate daily horticultural activities • Maintain production records and ensure compliance with WHS and biosecurity standards • Manage post-harvest handling, storage and quality assurance processes Minimum Requirements • AQF Certificate III or higher in Horticulture/Agriculture OR at least 3 years of relevant full-time work experience • Proven experience in commercial vegetable production or greenhouse farming • Knowledge of irrigation systems, fertiliser programs and crop management • Ability to supervise staff and work in a team environment • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices • Ability to work full-time in regional Queensland Preferred Skills • Experience in organic farming practices • Experience operating tractors and horticultural machinery • Strong record-keeping and communication skills Application Process To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter.
