Department for Health and Wellbeing – Public Health – Health Protection and Regulation Salary: $121,107 to $125,679 – ASO8 – Full Time / Term Contract up to 30 June 2026 Overview: The Algal Bloom Program Coordinator will be responsible for leading Health’s development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Public Health Monitoring Strategy (PHM) under the South Australian Government’s Algal Bloom Summer Plan. This role provides high level coordination, expert advice and strategic oversight to ensure monitoring, response and reporting of algal bloom risks. The Coordinator will promote, consult and collaborate with stakeholders across government, industry and community organisations to support evidence-based decision making, deliver training and capability building initiatives, and evaluate program perfomorance.to protect public health.
