Their flagship range represents the next generation of continuous flow gas water heaters —powerful, reliable and designed for modern Australian residential and commercial applications. With a team of experienced gas and electric appliance technicians, they are experts in servicing and maintaining both domestic and commercial systems. The business is entering an exciting phase of rapid growth and now needs a high‑performing Business Development Manager to help take their products into new markets. The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be the face of the business across residential, commercial, and trade channels. You’ll identify opportunities, open new doors, and build strong, profitable partnerships that drive sustainable growth. This is a role with real autonomy—you’ll shape the strategy, build the pipeline, and directly influence the results. Key responsibilities include: Driving new business across commercial, retail, and trade channels Developing and executing smart, targeted sales strategies Building your own pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research Converting prospects into long‑term, value‑driven partnerships Managing and growing key accounts Keeping the CRM accurate, current, and meaningful Working independently while being supported by a proactive and collaborative leadership team Representing a high‑quality, future‑focused product range You will ideally have: 5 years’ experience in business development or B2B sales Background in commercial plumbing, construction, building services, appliances, or related industries Strong understanding of the full B2B sales cycle—from prospecting through to close Proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding targets Experience selling through distributor or trade channels (Plumbing Merchants, Bunnings, Harvey Norman Commercial, Winnings, E&S, etc.) highly regarded Excellent communication skills and the ability to build genuine, lasting relationships High levels of organisation, drive, and self‑motivation Australian driver’s licence and full working rights What’s on offer $100K – $120K base commission Car or car allowance Laptop and mobile phone Innovative, energy‑efficient product suite True autonomy—you drive the growth and the income Direct access and support from the Managing Director Why This Role?
