Your New Role- Import Operator Lodge Sea Cargo Report/Under bonds Check pre-alert documents for the registration process. Send arrival notifications/pre-alerts to clients, outside brokers, and the transportation department. Check transshipments for confirmed vessels or ETD dates and update the system accordingly. Pay shipping line / co-load invoices 5 days out to ETA Identify any discrepancies on a payable invoice Completing billing process; timely and accurately coding of supplier’s invoices and preparing files for handover. Delivering a high level of customer service Participating in general office and warehouse tasks as required What you'll need to succeed Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role Import Operator experience 1 - stop experience CargoWise experience Ability to resolve problems effectively and efficiently. Excellent written and verbal communication Exceptional time management skills Strong planning and organizational skills including ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks. Team oriented, have an eye for detail, willing to learn and see work through to completion.
