Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you’ll work closely with Production and Planning to ensure high-quality output across multiple injection moulding machines. This role is hands-on and fast-paced—perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, efficiency, and contributing to a high‑performing manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Complete full die/mould changes in line with production schedules Set up injection moulding machines for production and trials Perform first‑off checks and ensure products meet specifications Conduct machine start-up and shut‑down Optimise machine cycle times and improve overall efficiency Troubleshoot machines and moulds, including basic maintenance Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace Actively contribute to waste reduction initiatives About You You bring strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting the broader team. You will ideally have: 6–10 years’ experience in a similar injection moulding or die‑setting role Strong mechanical and technical aptitude Excellent troubleshooting ability Experience with In-Mould Labelling (IML) A proactive, safety-focused mindset Ability to meet tight production deadlines Strong teamwork and communication skills A forklift licence (preferred) Equal Opportunity Employer AYVA Packaging celebrates diversity and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, cultures and identities.
