Required Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, or related qualification 3-6 years experience in a product development role Strong design skills in Solidworks or similar Experience with DFM and FMEA processes Understanding of manufacturing processes, specifically: moulding/casting, machining, electronic systems Experience with test system design Experience with requirements analysis and pre-compliance testing Highly desirable: Experience with sealing systems to high intrusion prevention specifications Compliance certification Experience in supplier negotiation and quality management Project management skills using agile processes Work on developing new products for a prominent Australian company, developing products for consumer and office use.
