About the role Join a hands‑on team installing and maintaining signage across Parramatta’s public spaces. Your work helps keep the city safe, easy to navigate and looking like a Global City. What your day to day may look like: Installing, repairing and maintaining a range of Council signage Inspecting signs and public areas to spot hazards or damage Following job schedules and completing work to set standards Helping other teams during wet weather or emergency situations Using an iPad/Worx Online to record and update job details Working safely, efficiently and with minimal waste Sharing ideas to improve tools, processes and how work gets done What’s on offer We are offering an attractive weekly remuneration from $1217.08 to $1340.69 plus 12% superannuation. This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, this could include the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance. You will bring a positive, team‑focused attitude and experience in sign installation or a similar trade/operational role. You will also bring: Basic tech confidence (iPad/job systems) Confidence using hand tools, power tools and equipment The physical ability to handle manual tasks and work at heights if required A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship Licences Current NSW Driver’s Licence (Class C).
