The purpose of this role is: Contribution and ongoing support of the implementation of procurement strategic sourcing plans (category lifecycles), focusing on group and corporate spend categories as required, plus any other Mirvac divisions/ functional areas where requested Reporting & analysis of addressable category spend identifying options and opportunities to deliver sustainable value Contributing to our Responsible Sourcing objectives, focusing on Procurement’s key role around Scope 3, social procurement and our modern slavery agenda Preparing and implementing sourcing plans to efficiently procure low risk/ lower value commodity goods and services and proactively managing tail spend Your key responsibilities will include: Contribute to the delivery of sourcing strategies and implementation plans including but not limited to; spend/vendor reporting & analysis, strategy reporting to functional/ divisional stakeholders, establishing procurement pipelines and benefits targets/ tracking, driving supplier performance and achievement of appropriate KPIs/ metrics Execute sourcing activities to deliver the ongoing procurement of low risk/ lower value commodity goods and services including rationalisation of tail spend whilst ensuring business continuity and a diverse supplier base For group categories and corporate functions, with the leadership of the Director, Procurement Group Excellence and support of the Category Manager - Group, partner with business stakeholders to build a prioritised pipeline to optimise value delivered, applying a suitably broad definition of value For relevant categories, identify strategic vendors and other key external partners for this area of responsibility to build value accretive partnerships and drive innovative solutions Support the Director, Procurement Group Excellence and Category Manager, Group in the delivery of category management plans and procurement activities as part of an enterprise business partnering approach, focusing on group spend categories and corporate/ functional areas Assume accountability for end-to-end delivery of appropriate procurement projects Actively contribute to Mirvac’s “This Changes Everything” ESG strategy and comply with Mirvac’s Responsible Sourcing Policy and supporting Procurement’s key roles relating to carbon emissions including Scope 3, social procurement and our modern slavery agenda With guidance of the Director, Procurement Group Excellence and Category Manager - Group, develop and apply appropriate engagement strategies to create and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the whole organisation Experience Candidates from a variety of backgrounds are welcome. For those who have previously worked in procurement, a demonstrated understanding of procurement disciplines and processes including spend analysis, benefits tracking, performance sourcing activities including via a formal RFx source to contract process; and contract management/ administration. Knowledge / Skills Tertiary qualifications in a commercial discipline (Supply Chain/Procurement) or similar; property industry/ supply chain / procurement/ ESG experience is desirable but not essential. Candidates with broad commercial, project management, change management and influencing skills would be welcome to apply.
