About you We are seeking a reliable and efficient Storemen/Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for breaking down and sorting carton freight, loading and unloading vans and trailers. You will need to have good manifest accuracy, be competent in manual handling, and be able to work in a team environment. As we operate 24/7 the ideal candidate must be available for the scheduled times. Key Responsibilities: - Receive, unload, and organise incoming freight - Accurately record and label all incoming and outgoing freight - Organise and maintain the warehouse to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of freight - Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner - Ensure that all safety procedures are followed at all times - Keep the warehouse clean and tidy Requirements: - 1 years experience as a Store Person in a logistics freight company or similar environment is desirable - Ability to commit to listed shift pattern - Forklift license is essential - Experience with forklifts and other warehouse equipment - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in a refrigerated environment - Australian work rights are essential for this position At SRT "Our purpose is to provide leading, end to end supply chain services".
