As part of our Fraud & Intelligence team, you’ll play a key role in investigating insurance claims and safeguarding the financial interests of one of Australia's most trusted insurance providers. We are currently seeking an Investigation Review Officer to join our team on a secondment, which may lead to a permanent position within Fraud & Intelligence . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in insurance claims, investigations, or fraud detection who thrives in a collaborative and customer-focused environment. This role is open to internal candidates based Australia wide. What you’ll do: Conduct thorough, impartial investigations into insurance claims, identifying potential fraud or misrepresentation. Gather and assess evidence using investigative tools and techniques, ensuring all actions align with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards. Complete recorded interviews, perform relevant searches, and assess supporting documentation. Communicate outcomes with clarity and empathy, managing sensitive customer interactions with professionalism. Collaborate with external investigators and internal teams to drive positive outcomes. Maintain high standards of audit compliance, risk awareness, and reporting integrity. Contribute to a supportive team culture, participating in training, knowledge sharing, and capability uplift initiatives. What we’re looking for: Proven experience in insurance claims management and/or investigations. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal. A customer-first mindset with a resilient and professional approach to sensitive or challenging conversations. Familiarity with investigative or legal frameworks related to insurance is desirable. Qualifications in investigations or insurance (desirable). Ready to make a difference?
