Platform Support Engineer Are you a problem-solver with a love for code, SQL, and untangling complex systems? We’re looking for a Platform Support Engineer to own Level 2 support for this proprietary platform. You’ll troubleshoot, automate, and improve processes while collaborating across product, dev, and operations teams—making a real impact every day. What You’ll Do: Dive into complex platform, database, and integration issues, delivering smart, auditable solutions. Build scripts and internal tools to make support faster, smarter, and more efficient. Work closely with developers and stakeholders to escalate, validate, and resolve issues. Document processes, create runbooks, and expand our internal knowledge base. Engage with customers and internal teams with clear, professional communication. What You Bring: Strong software engineering or platform support experience. Expert SQL skills and the ability to debug, optimise, and analyse queries. Comfortable reading code (Java ideally, but could consider Python) and working with APIs. Analytical, methodical, and always curious about how systems work end-to-end. Excellent communicator with a customer-first mindset. Bonus Points For: Exposure to AWS, Docker, microservices, or modern CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, etc.). Experience in fintech, regulated environments, or ITIL frameworks. Hybrid envoronment, 2 days per week in sydney CBD office!
